- The Provost Search Committee
The search for a Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs is one of the most important hiring processes our campus community ever undertakes. As our Chief Academic Officer, the Provost is a key member of the President’s Council and plays a central role in the aspirations of the University.
EKU has retained the Executive Search Firm of Myers McRae to conduct a nationwide search for this key leadership role. Lead Consultant and Meyers McRae President Kenny Daugherty will work closely with our Search Committee co-chairs, Dr. Matt Winslow, professor of psychology and chair of the Faculty Senate, and Dr. Shirley O’Brien, professor of occupational therapy and former chair of the Faculty Senate. The search will take place from June 2018 to November 2018, with the objective of having the incumbent in place by the end of 2018.

I would like to thank in advance the members of the Search Committee for their time and service. As the committee begins its work of building the candidate pool, nominations of candidates are welcome from the EKU community, and may be submitted in confidence to Dr. Winslow (email@example.com) or Dr. O’Brien (firstname.lastname@example.org).
